Luss Distillery is a new destination for discovery — where a spirit of adventure runs through everything we do. Set on the edge of Loch Lomond, it’s home to immersive experiences built around two bold, characterful brands: Ben Lomond Gin, which we distil right here on site, and Loch Lomond Whiskies, crafted just a little further down the loch at our Loch Lomond distillery.
From hands-on gin making to guided tastings of some of Scotland’s most distinctive whiskies, every visit invites you to explore something new. Whether it’s flavour, craft or the stories behind the spirit, Luss Distillery is where your journey into whisky and gin truly begins.

Luss Distillery stands proudly as part of the Loch Lomond Group, continuing a centuries-old tradition of crafting globally celebrated spirits in and around Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park – an area world-renowned for its dramatic mountains, deep lochs, and rich cultural heritage.
Home to Ben Lomond Scottish Gin, our vibrant distillery produces small-batch, premium gins and invites adventurous spirits to embark on a journey of flavour discovery - whether joining a guided tour, crafting cocktails in a hands-on masterclass, or blending a personalised gin that lets your favourite botanicals shine.
We are also home to the Loch Lomond Whiskies experience, where exclusive tastings showcase our award-winning range of single malt and single grain Scotch whiskies, distilled and matured just 10 minutes away at our neighbouring Loch Lomond Distillery (winner of Distillery of the Year at the IWSC Awards 2024). As our working Scotch distillery is not open to the public, Luss Distillery provides the perfect place to explore Loch Lomond’s signature style, guided by our knowledgeable and welcoming team.
Our specialist shop is a treasure trove for spirits lovers and first-time explorers alike, featuring the full Loch Lomond Group portfolio - from Ben Lomond Scottish Gin and Loch Lomond Whiskies to the elegance of Champagne Piaff, the characterful single malts of Campbeltown’s Glen Scotia Distillery, and even rare finds from the now-closed Littlemill Distillery. It’s the ideal place to pick up a special souvenir or bottle to savour.
Our licensed on-site cafe, run by our friends at Scoff & Patter, marks a new chapter for the locally renowned team - bringing their hearty all-day eatery to our corner of Loch Lomond. It’s a place to unwind, take in the views, and indulge in delicious food and drink against the stunning backdrop of the surrounding landscapes.
Every detail of Luss Distillery is drawn from the breathtaking scenery that surrounds us - from the natural materials and skilled craftsmanship woven into its contemporary design, to the iconic mountain and loch, whose stories have shaped our award-winning spirits.
